Mis-matched Online Articles in Inappropriate Categories on Online Article Submission Websites

An online article submission website must be careful to insure that the articles online are indeed in the proper categories. All to often when you go to the second and third tier websites in the Internet online article submission market sector you see that self-policing on content does not work. All too often unscrupulous authors, writers and shameless hussies of online marketing selling their wares, seminars, books, smut and smoking paraphernalia online will purposefully post their articles in the wrong categories you see?

One online marketer and author of marketing books disagrees and feels that he should be allowed to do this in order self-promote his expert online article author status. I guess to sell more books or something? However I still think it is a huge point of contention and the issue should be addressed. Not only on the third tier wasteful online article submission websites which are a dime a dozen and come and go so much, but also on the more advanced top of the food chain online article websites as well to protect their industry rankings and status.

Mis-matched articles in inappropriate categories may help ranking for a writer in a category, however do not help the user of the system and undermine its usability in that the user is not finding what he/she was looking for and then gets bored and with this click-happy society and attention span of 1-2 min. max per page, they are gone from the inappropriate category article and the site as well.

Who does this serve? Only the author who miss places the articles and only temporarily? I would say that is neither good marketing or good brand building, but rather trickery based on BS? Whether or not anyone is specifically doing this on purpose such as the online marketer mentioned above, all online article websites need to be weary of this in 2006, as it is only fair to the user.
